I have many people who have inspired me over the years as I've grown a deeper love for food and cooking, but if I was going to name the most inspiring person it couldn't be anyone else but this beautiful lady right here.

(I am going to get yelled at for this picture. 'Oh my god Jenna, I look terrible!')

 My Momma :)

I'm lucky to have grown up with a mom that cooked us dinner pretty much every night.  And it wasn't crap either, we ate good.  My mom loves good food and we got what she felt like eating.  At least that's the way I always saw it.  Sausage with peppers and onions on hoagy rolls, crab legs with butter, the most amazing bbq spare ribs you'll ever eat.  Tuna noodle casserole, meatloaf I still can't replicate to this day, chicken and avacado sandwiches.  Thanksgiving in a pan.  Seriously you guys you don't even know.  Italian subs, lasagna I also can't replicate, golumpkies with french bread that our friends would invite themselves over for. Beautiful Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, pineapple upside down cake, beef stew with dumplings, chicken pot pie.  Liver and onions (just for us), bbq with munster cheese and pickles, ham and string beans.

My Momma is a mean cook, and that list could go on and on. I owe everything to her for exposing me to the good things.  She still has to make my sandwiches when I go home though, they taste better when she makes them.  She says, 'You cook better than I do!' Yea yea save it mom, best put more mayo on that bread.  Thanks Momma, love you!

Oh my made me cry! I'm happy that you remember all the love I put into cooking for my family and friends. I always told you "love" was my secret ingredient.
I am so proud to be the inspiration of your creativity and skill. The recipes you come up with, cook, share and illustrate are amazing!
I'm proud , most of all, to be your Mom.
